A Story That Began at Home
Meet Tameka Pleas
Faith Moves Gentle Care was born from one of the most personal experiences of my life: caring for my mother after she suffered a stroke.
As her needs changed, I began to understand firsthand what caregiving truly meant. It wasn’t just about helping with the day to day things. It was about being present for someone I loved, protecting her dignity, bringing her comfort, and making sure she knew she wasn’t alone.
That journey also taught me how important it is for caregivers and families to have someone they can trust and depend on. Caring for my mom changed my life. It gave me a deeper understanding of compassion, patience, and the power of simply being there.
From that experience, Faith Moves Gentle Care grew with a heart to provide other families with the same compassion, comfort, and trusted presence I wanted for my own mother.

That experience became my purpose—to create a service where seniors are treated like family, with the same love, respect, and care I wanted for my own.
